Lighthouse Challenge Long Sleeve T-Shirt

The Lighthouse Challenge of New Jersey is an annual event that takes place the third weekend of October each year. The challenge is to visit 10 land based lighthouses, 3 lifesaving stations, 1 museum, 1 virtual site and the Lighthouse Society of NJ site over the two day weekend. The challenge route covers the Atlantic Coast from Sandy Hook to Cape May and the Delaware Bay and River Coast from Cape May to Paulsboro. Take the challenge and learn more about these historic treasures of New Jersey.

The Lighthouse Challenge is a rain or shine event and you have two days to complete the Challenge. You can start at any of the sites on the Challenge and you'll register where you start. There is a registration fee of $4. For the fee, you'll receive a pocketed holder for the souvenirs that you'll collect at each stop. This year's souvenirs pay tribute to the Keepers who manned the lighthouses and lifesaving stations. The registration fee is the only cost to participate in the Challenge. Some of the lighthouses do charge to climb, however, it is not necessary to climb any lighthouses to complete the Challenge. If you visit all the stops on the Challenge, you will be entered in a drawing to win a gift basket worth over $500 with goodies from all the sites.
